National Youth Rating Examination

The China Electronics Society was established in 1962. It is a public institution directly under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and an important group member unit of the China Association for Science and Technology. The China Electronics Society owns a globally renowned national-level robotics professional brand (World Robot Conference - WRC). With its strong academic, technical, expert, and channel resources, it undertakes the functions of formulating and releasing relevant group standards for robots in China. It also undertakes the work of evaluating the proficiency of a large number of professionals in the field of electronic information.


The expert team of the "National Youth Robot Technology Rating Examination" is composed of more than 30 experts from the Popular Science Training and Application Promotion Center of the China Electronics Society, Peking University, Tsinghua University, Beihang University, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Harbin Institute of Technology, Carnegie Mellon Robotics Academy, as well as Microsoft, ARM, Arduino, VEX and other institutions and enterprises. The standards have also received unanimous endorsement and support from more than 30 well-known domestic and foreign robotics education institutions. The standards set for the "National Youth Robot Technology Rating Examination" conform to the latest concepts and hierarchical classifications of STEM youth science and technology education and innovation development. It is not only applicable to the assessment of the comprehensive technical literacy of young people in robotics, but also has important guiding significance for carrying out youth science and technology education and popular science.
